For Small Dogs

Small dog breeds such as Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, Pomeranians, as well as puppies, have very specific requirements when it comes to their accessories. Conventional collars and leashes are often far too bulky and heavy for slender dog necks and can restrict freedom of movement. In my workshop, I handcraft my own MINI Collection. In my workshop, I use extra-small, lightweight snap hooks for minis. They provide excellent safety and breaking strength without weighing your dog down during walks. Slim Straps & Adapted Rope Thicknesses – To ensure the collar doesn’t look bulky around the neck, I use specially adapted dimensions. For our leather collars, I use slim, coat-friendly strap widths, while our rope collars are made with thinner, lightweight rope up to a maximum thickness of 9 mm. Soft & Flexible from Day One – Small dogs can be particularly sensitive to stiff materials. The vegetable-tanned leather I use is buttery-soft and flexible from the very first day.
